Business Ambassador Scheme
Business Ambassador Scheme
What is the Business Ambassador Scheme?
The Business Ambassador Scheme has been established to acknowledge those businesses and individuals that regularly give their time and commitment to schools
and colleges across Essex, Southend and Thurrock and the surrounding counties.
Protection of Ambassadors and students
As part of the scheme all members receive a photo ID card and pin.
As part of our commitment to the
protection of vulnerable adults and
young people we ask all volunteers
to sign up to our Code of Conduct
Why should I get involved?
• you will help schools engage with
the real world of business
• you will enable students see the
relevance of education
• you will encourage young people
improve their employability
How much time should I give?
By joining the scheme you can let us know exactly how much time you can offer to schools and what activities you wish to take part in. The amount of your commitment would be up to you and the expectations of your company.
For more information on the activities and the time requirement for each please view the Volunteering information for Businesses publication.
